"I had the opportunity to take an introduction to acting class with Stephanie Lopez in the fall of 2022. I am not an actor by any means and was really nervous to participate in this course. I can happily say that it did not disappoint, mainly because of Ms. Lopez. She is very energetic as a professor and is always genuinely interested in getting to know you as a person in and outside of the classroom. She always came to class super excited and prepared to teach. She included a large variety of fun learning activities including both group and individual projects, one on one class exercises, and so much more. I had a blast performing a group interpretation to Katy Perry’s “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.),” doing a “no emotion” yelling activity with a partner, and so much more. Before taking this course I was not much of a public speaker, but by the end I actually had the courage to write and perform a very personal monologue to the entire class. I attribute all of this to Ms. Lopez, who helped encourage me, listened to me, and has maintained a relationship with me since the conclusion of her class. So grateful for her, everything she has taught me that I am able to use in both professional and personal settings, and everything she has done for me."

"Ms. Lopez was my daughter’s instructor at OSCA’s summer camp program and then went on to work with my daughter to prepare her for her OSCA audition. Ms. Lopez was patient, direct, and extremely professional. My daughter truly enjoyed working with her and we really appreciated her skillful coaching. She clearly prepared my daughter well because my daughter made it through the very vigorous audition portion of the admissions process (and was eventually accepted to OCSA)." Best regards, Sherry Mostofi, Esq.

"Stephanie Lopez is a truly wonderful professor that wants nothing more than to help you grow as both a person and an artist. I trained under her at the Orange County School of the Arts, and during my time with her she gave me the confidence to try new techniques, ultimately making me a better actor. It was so much fun working with her as she always created an inviting and comfortable classroom atmosphere. I'm forever thankful for her and am so fortunate to have had her as my mentor!"
